NBR ORİNG

Nitrile is the most widely used elastomer in the seal industry, and commonly used in o-ring and sealing applications.  Nitrile provides excellent compression set, tear, and abrasion resistance. The nitrile oring is commonly referred to as a Buna o-ring, or NBR o-rings.

O-rings are made of 4 kinds of raw materials as Nitrile (NBR), Silicone (VMQ), Viton (FKM), Rubber (EPDM). The most durable of these products is VITON O-ring. However, it is less preferred because it is more expensive than other orings.

In addition, one of the reasons why NBR oring is preferred is Nitrile oring (NBR) is used at temperatures between -40 ° C and 105 ° C. They are the most used oring types and also have high resistance to oil.
