X-RİNG

In general, the sealing principles of X-rings are almost identical to that as O-rings. Sealing is achieved with radial squeeze in a piston/bore type gland.

Due to its X-RING structure, it is not compressed where it is used, instead it reduces friction by bending. Due to this bending, the pressure is distributed and reduced. Thus, power loss is minimized.

Since X Ring seals have 4 corners, that is, four contact points, they greatly increase the sealing.
